[NEW] Disney Dream Cruise Line & Aquaduck – Video Tour and Concept Art

www.marciodisney.blogspot.com – Disney Videos & News See the new video… it’s the same plus the virtual ride at Aquaduck: www.youtube.com When Disney Cruise Line debuts the new Disney Dream in early 2011, the ship will include multiple innovations never seen before in the industry. The AquaDuck water coaster will sweep guests on a 765-foot high-speed flume ride with uphill acceleration and a swing-out loop letting you look down to the ocean 150 feet below. Guests staying in inside staterooms will enjoy views of the ocean and sky through Virtual Portholes with hi-def views, live from cameras on the Disney Dream’s exterior. Guests may also see Peach (the starfish from the Disney-Pixar film “Finding Nemo”) or Mickey Mouse pop by the Virtual Porthole. The Disney Dream will also cater to the unique vacation needs of individual family members. While young children play in interactive spaces recreating Disney-Pixar films “Toy Story” and “Monsters, Inc.”, teens and tweens each enjoy their own high-tech clubs, and parents indulge in The District – an adult-exclusive entertainment area of sophisticated bars and lounges. The Disney Dream is scheduled to depart on its maiden voyage Jan. 26, 2011 and will sail alternating three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. During summer months, the ship will alternate four- and five-night itineraries with two stops at Castaway Cay. Guests can book their Disney Dream cruise beginning Nov. 9, 2009 …

Designing this must be one awesome job.
wow, this looks awesome! me and my family are loyal Norwegian Cruise Line cruisers, but we’re definitely considering about doing at least one cruise on the Disney Dream. :)
@cameplaitbeaucoup different goals and different customers! The new Disney Dream is an Amazing ship with a lot of new things that we’ll only see next year. The Animator’s Palate, for example, will be an top restaurant with some kind of entertainment that we never seen before! Remy will be unique too! Just give it time and wait to see what Disney will give to us on the new Disney Dream! :)
@Marciodisney and when’s this new ship with the golf course coming out? 2020? took them long enough to get the Disney Dream built and designed, and it’s still not as innovative or as large as Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas. I love Disney, but am disappointed in this ship, the aqua duck is the only cool thing on Disney Dream.
ya!!!!!!!! i’m going!!!! can’t wait!

I’m so excited! I cann’ot wait to go on this!
@funnygal11 oh…well how could you get drunk at a casino…im sure theres just other places you can get drunk on disney…
Um..its Disney. They’re not going to have a Casino with drunk guys running around.
You can still go on it. They have age acceptions as long as you’re older, not younger than the requested age :)

Disney Cruise Line is starting to trickle out information on its 128,000-ton, 2,500-passenger Disney Dream, which will debut in January 2011.
Remember, however that Disney’s load factor is the highest in the industry at about 150 percent (due to the abundance of kids). The ship can carry up to 4,000 at full capacity; currently, Disney Magic and Disney Wonder can carry a full capacity of 2,400.

Disney says Goofy’s Golf, as the nine-hole miniature golf course is to be called, is part of an interactive sports deck that also will have two digital sports simulators and two mini-sized sports courts where small children can play soccer and basketball. There also will be a full-court basketball area that can be transformed into a mini soccer pitch or volleyball court.
The sports deck also will have table tennis and foosball tables, and it will be ringed by a walking track.
The top of Disney Cruise Line’s next ship will feature a miniature golf course themed around Goofy and a water play area for kids that has Nemo as its inspiration.
The 2,500-passenger Disney Dream, currently under construction at a shipyard in Germany, also will boast an adults-only decktop pool area with a swim-up bar.
