Luxury Cruise Turns Into A Nightmare

This is footage caught on a security camera in the dining room. The clips is quite long but once it has loaded you can skip through it. It’s like a scene from Titanic.

Well done the dining staff. They coped admirably until finally guiding and helping passengers who needed it. An example to us all!
5:59 that man has baaaad lucky !!!!!!!
what cruise is this?
The Traveling Pepper Grinder.
1:50: First appears on white floor, just above table on the bottom left.
3:20: Rolls around for awhile, then gets accidentally kicked by crew member.
6:15: After the chaos, reappears on white floor, then bangs into foot of crew member who’s hanging onto pillar, and gets kicked again in evacuation.
Next night: Back to normal. “Would you like some ground pepper on your salad, sir?”
I guess dinner service ended early that night – not that anyone felt like eating anyway.
Seriously, I think it’s interesting to watch the woman at the lower edge of the picture have the presence of mind at about 4:37 to stand up and grab onto the secure, bolted-down table and thereby keep herself safe in the midst of this frightening insanity.
As a frequent cruiser, this video gives me the fuckin’ chills…. All I can think about is what if my 5 year old son gets hurt, who am I gonna sue?! This is the scariest video I’ve ever seen….more scary than a bukaki video!!

@deltaleader37 lol yes they finally noticed @5:49 when a cabinet (or something) landed on them!
This would’ve been better if they were all wearing roller skates.

GREAT VID! I can see how they can’t secure chairs and small stuff to the floors but the big heavy furniture should certainly, IMHO be required to be bolted or somehow secured. I was on RCCLs Navigator of the Seas and it was pretty shocking to be walking down “main street” as we passed through the Florida Straits in Feb with huge heavy furniture suddenly moving around without anybody making a fuss. Not the kind of stuff the cruise lines like to show you.
