i just got back from a cruise (royal cribbean) that just came out of florida ft lauterdale
@twbflorida Ya ik wat u mean. the Pride of America was built 50 years ago, has 13 decks, is 81,00 tons and can hold 2,156 people…..
I know each ship has a varying degree of stability, seemingly by age of the ship. The Pride might be an older and smaller ship. This was the Zenith–probably an 80s build, nothing like the behemoths being launched today. The big ships probably would have smoothly moved through this storm.
I went on the Pride of America in Hawaii and our ship’s pools were similar to that (right next to each other) also we never had bad weather but even the small waves made the water in the pool go higher than the ones in ur pool, they were so bad they said u had 2 be 13+ to be in the pool wen it was like that!!
@twbflorida every ship is a good ship, you just need a good captain.
I never felt unsafe, so they must make good ships.

lol not gonna lie this kinda freaks me out im gonna be going on a cruise in june which is hurricane season.
@IcelandEmt its bad up there, but ive been in all waters and the Southern ocean is the most pissed off of them all, fallowed by the North Sea and the Bearing sea
lol im the one dispatched to save them, and to be honest it seems like its pretty bad but there is not much wind, this is really not that bad of a storm i bet it got worse later on for them….
You are absolutely correct. Had I considered anyone but myself, in any degree, I would never have done that.
Why would you be so stupid as to risk your life, go out on a railing for a video? If you dont care that much about your own life, at least think about the many who would have have been dispatched and risk their life to save your sorry ass.

You should try to work in Icelandic troller, like i did…. This is calm sea vs: Icelandic winter weather… Regards ;)
great video! i was on the zeniths sister ship horizon. we cruised to bermuda had an awesome time until it was time to come home. we ran into a storm at sea. that was very freaky
